History

The IBM PS/2 model 30 system was the first PS/2 system ever. This model (8530) and also the model 25 (8525)
were ISA-based systems originally only available with an 8086 processor.
Many of the PS/2 innovations went to become standards in the broader PC market as the
16550 UART, 1.44 Mb 3,5 " floppy disk format, 72-pin SIMMs, the PS/2 keyboard and  mouse ports and
the VGA video standard.
